Create a Game Plan that is an efficient system that turns your goals into action.  The Individual Enhancement Plan focuses on ensuring players grow on and off the court by identifying and focusing on the most important goals.

Assess your progress and leverage data to make informed adjustments. The Individual Enhancement Plan outlines goals using racing terminology. Each leg represents two weeks, and four legs, or eight weeks, equate to one full lap. Similar to a relay race where the baton is passed to continue the momentum, players are encouraged to achieve their goals to advance further.

Your goals should be clear and rationale while also allowing yourself to adjust to seen and unforeseen circumstances.  Apply rewards and consequences based on performance and consistency.

Systems are emotionless.  Successful systems can be created or copied and adjusted based on the data.  Every two weeks, players are met with to evaluate and discuss the progress of their goals.  No short cuts are taken.

Although the following four principles are basketball focused, personal development does not have to be focused on basketball but allow players to participate in basketball by teaching them how to be successful in the classroom, building personal confidence, teach players how to lead, learning how to extend their careers and finally how to transition to their next endeavor once playing basketball comes to and end.  Player should not only see change in their basketball game but basketball should teach them how to be successful in life.  We understand the significance of off-court growth, which is as vital as your on-court progress. As a basketball player, your development extends beyond technical abilities and encompasses essential traits like character, leadership, and resilience. Throughout your journey, it is imperative to acknowledge how your strengths both on and off the court contribute to your success in life. One way players make this connection is by exploring various topics and researching significant figures relevant to their race, enabling them to accelerate their overall development effectively.

GAME DAY PREP

In order to maximize your performance on game day, it is crucial to establish a game day routine. This routine will ensure that you are physically prepared and mentally focused to compete at a high level.

Training focused on offensive and defensive efficiency as well improving basketball intelligence is the foundation of a good basketball player.  A player who produces and is efficient with their playing time are valuable players to any team.  Strategic planning focused skill training must involve individual and group training that focuses on the development of the roles they will play as well as the potential roles they will play in the future.   Achieving mastery in skills and applying them effectively during high-pressure game situations fosters a sense of confidence that stems from a well-crafted strategic plan focused on the player’s development.

 

At LFT, we offer a variety of workouts designed to meet the unique needs of each player, referred to as Relationship Workouts. Our program includes Individual Skill Development, where players pursue their personal objectives, Same Skill Set sessions that focus on practicing the same techniques together, and Mixed Skill Set practices that create opportunities for bigs and guards to collaborate in real-game scenarios.  

 

TACTICAL

3v3

Training is focused on offensive and defensive concepts played in a three vs three setting.  Players may only focus on the offensive or defensive end.  This training is focused on using the skill you have in a tactical way.

small sided games

Training is focused on offensive and defensive concepts played in a setting of no less than 2v1 but no more than 5v4.  Players may only focus on the offensive or defensive end.  Games may have constraints, advantages or both given to either side of the ball.
